Worship at Whiskey Town Lake

Saw the sun go down behind these hills, it was one of the most memorable moments of my life

There were 2 worship parties going on at Brandy Creek a couple miles down, so we went and joined in. I love Bethel Church! Sitting around a bonfire worshiping with a bunch of people who know they were made for love

In n Out Burgers at midnight, yes In n Out is worth all the fuss and praise, SO good...

Always wanted to see my name in lights...

Happy Birthday!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday to my only nephew and favorite little man J.T!!!

What can I say? You are the cutest, funniest, sweetest, smartest person in the world and you've taught me so much in your little life.

You changed our world and made our extended family a little more interesting...

Know you are loved so much by your parents, your grandparents, your uncles and aunts (especially your favorite, me!)

Wish you a great year and a great life marked with God's blessings!

Auntie "Ambua" loves you!

Of Weddings & Such :: Kenyan Wedding Photographers

I have to break my wedding silence by writing about this photographer...my dream photographer when I have my future wedding here in Nairobi. I have to say I've been a fan from the beginning and I've seen his business and talent grow by leaps and bounds; this is both a good thing and a bad thing. A good thing because by the time this single girl finds her one and plans to get hitched, my dream photographer will probably be one of the best in Africa; a bad thing becasue there goes my wedding budget! Either way, this quality is worth it.

Who is it I'm raving about?

Why, Kenyan Wedding Photographer Ben Kiruthi of course!

This is my favorite wedding Number 1, this is my Number 2. Check them out and tell them if you won't rush to book him before I do :-)

Sunrise in Narobi: Eastlands

Took these photos leaving the house for work on Wednesday. It sucks having to wake up at 5 a.m. but this day was definitely worth it. I wish I lived on a farm or on a hill somewhere where I could get the perfect view, but this was more than great enough for me.

So I’m wondering if it would be crazy, when I get engaged if I make everyone get up at sunrise so we could have a sunrise photo shoot. Just thinking out loud here, potential suitors don’t be scared off, it’s just one day!!!

You know how in Revelation there’s people or heavenly hosts or elders, I don’t remember which, who walk around the throne singing “Holy! Holy! Holy!” and every time they see a new side of God, they’re just overcome and sing “Holy, Holy, Holy!”

I think sometimes we get a little bit of that, God just showing different sides of His personality: creativity, love, joy, grace…

It just depends on where you look.

Sky-Watch

Get it, because we're going to go see Skyfall next week...no? Yeah guess it's not that funny :-)

Anyway, I've been doing a lot of cloud gazing recently. I don't know, if anything can show you how beautiful, majestic, awesome, creative, spectacular, awe-striking, amazing God is, it's the colors of the sky.

Took these with my phone.

Took this at the Greenspan Mall Parking Lot...my sis and I were half expecting a face to appear like on the TV show "V"

Sunset Over Greenspan

Honestly those colors, pinks, blues, yellows, greys...PERFECT!

God is beautiful.

Took these next 3 sitting in the bus on the Jogoo Rd. Bridge, I looked to the right and literally saw the rain coming (see the rain pouring down at the back of the picture?)...I love that

Love this!

Took this one on my morning "jog" I run up and down this street like 15 times and I think that's good enough for me ;)

This is an old one, loved the light in the middle.

Anyway, yesterday I was praying and just said, "God help me never take it for granted. I want to catch as many glimpses of you as I can"
